Matariki

On the dark starry night I sail out to sea. I put my ladder  up into the sky. I climb carefully up the ladder. All around me I see bright shiny stars. I reach out and touch the stars. I grab the seven Matariki stars. I see the New Year begin.

Simple fractions


It’s my bread


At the pool


Rotorua got pools

I am at Rotorua at the Thermal hot pools. I can see the shallow mud pools. I can see some sharp grey rocks. I can see the hot steam rising. I can hear the gurgling mud going plop plop plop. I can feel the hot murky sater. I can feel the mud squishing between my toes. The air smells like rotten eggs.

Writing

I can see a beach I can see. Some blue water. I can here the waves. I can here some

seagulls. I can feel a cold water. I can feel some crunchy sand.I can smell some salt water and fresh air.
